I am a tutor at St. John’s College.
I was born in Zhenjiang, China, and grew up in the neighboring city, Suzhou, surrounded by its coursing rivers. I received my BA in Liberal Arts from St John’s College in Annapolis in 2016 and PhD from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. My research interests lie mainly in metaphysics. I wrote my dissertation on a theory of artifacts as entities constitutively dependent on collective intentionality.
I am a literary translator on occasion and review Chinese books in translation here.
